Klima-Therm Group unifies the business activity of foreign companies [klima-therm.com]

While implementing the strategy of sales growth and expansion in the international market, the Management Board of Klima-Therm Group has decided to consolidate and unify the distribution activity of foreign companies. As of 1 January 2020, subsidiaries operating in Scandinavia will function under one common brand Klima-Therm. The name change of these commercial enterprises reflects the growing potential of Klima-Therm Group in the key European markets, and is an expression of the company's ambition to build a strong global brand.


The unification of business activity applies to the following distribution companies: FG Nordic, from Sweden and FG Finland with its registered office in Helsinki, which were renamed Klima-Therm AB (Sweden) and Klima-Therm OY (Finland) at the start of the year. In the case of the Swedish market, the rebranding process is additionally linked to the consolidation implemented within the former FG Nordic Group and applicable to the internal merger between two local companies, i.e. FG Nordic AB and Svensk Kylimport AB (SKiAB).


Changes in foreign companies are an element of a consistently implemented strategy aimed at the growth and expansion of Klima-Therm Group. The Polish company, established in 1996, today successfully conducts sales to 35 countries around the world, each year reporting an increase in revenue of several dozen percent in foreign markets. The business structure of the organisation effectively combines the production of ventilation systems under the Klimor brand with the distribution of air conditioning units carried out by Klima-Therm. The consolidation and image unification of the distribution activity in relation to commercial enterprises in Sweden and Finland are primarily aimed at strengthening the recognition and increasing the competitiveness of Klima-Therm Group in the global market.

 

- Over the years, as a result of multiple decisions and occurrences of managerial and operative nature, it was possible to determine production and distribution activities as two principal specialisations within the structure of the Group. At the same time, we have built two strong and complementary brands, namely Klima-Therm and Klimor – emphasizes Daniel Jaśkiewicz, President of the Management Board of Klima-Therm Group. The name change of our foreign entities is another step towards organising the profile of the Group’s activity, resulting from the need to emphasize the character and vision of the organisation in all markets where Klima-Therm Group operates. I am confident that with this move and by transferring the strength of the dominant brand from the domestic market, i.e. Poland, onto other countries of strategic importance to the company, we will ensure the dynamic development of sales – adds Daniel Jaśkiewicz.

Consolidations and the rebranding process of companies operating in Scandinavia, apart from the strategic aspect, are connected with synergy in relation to selected business processes, i.e. purchasing, logistics and administration. The area of marketing and corporate communication will also be unified; with the start of January 2020, at www.klima-therm.com, the company is launching an international version of its website, which operates on the basis of geolocation to redirect users from a given country to the appropriate language version. Moreover, the global domain extension of the so-called top level [.com] will be given all email aliases of Klima-Therm.
