Klima-Therm Group is in the final stages of its migration to the newest version of an integrated ERP system – SAP S/4HANA. The latest generation of the software, whose SAP ECC version has been supporting key financial and management processes within the company since 2010, will primarily streamline reporting and provide even greater insight into corporate operations and business data thanks to in-depth analysis.

SAP S/4HANA is an entirely new ERP system concept, optimised mainly for the database, which combines the features of both a transactional and analytical database. The much higher capacity of the software allows generating complex reports in real-time, directly from the transaction system, without overloading it. Another important benefit resulting from the system’s implementation is the so-called material ledger – a management accounting tool. It will provide Klima-Therm Group companies with considerable support in decision-making by supplying comprehensive information on the actual purchase and production costs of specific material units. What is also crucial is that the new SAP system will operate in the cloud, ensuring convenient, scalable and fast access to corporate resources while maintaining full integration of existing business applications in conjunction with advanced analytics.

Klima-Therm Group has used the integrated ERP system by SAP since 2010. The productive launch of its latest version is scheduled for 1 January 2022 and will be carried out at seven companies simultaneously, including Klima-Therm in Poland, Sweden, Finland and in the Klimor company. The implementation scope will cover many business areas, including sales and distribution, materials management, warehouse management, production management, project management, finance and accounting, fixed assets and controlling. The migration and implementation of SAP S/4HANA will be completed by the project team of Klima-Therm Group with the participation of authorised SAP partners and specialist external consultants.
