FUJITSU's first carbon-neutral air conditioner

Added on: 14.12.2023
Fujitsu Nocria "Z" series wall-mounted air conditioner - unit launched in 2023 for the Japanese market - has been certified by the Kawasaki CN Brand Grand Prize for technological excellence contributing to CO2 reduction throughout the product life cycle.

The Nocria "Z" is the first Fujitsu product to be recognized as carbon neutral - from the raw materials used in its production to the final disposal of the air conditioner. The received CN certification was awarded to the Japanese manufacturer at the initiative of the city of Kawasaki and the local chamber of commerce, which set the goal of promoting carbon neutrality (CN) among business entities, with a positive impact on the environment and society.

Certified products additionally receive preferred solution status under existing programs to support companies and businesses in achieving carbon neutrality. Thus, Fujitsu Nocria "Z" Series air conditioners are part of the subsidy system for energy-saving investments in the small and medium-sized business sector.

The certificate awarded to the Fujitsu brand is part of the implementation of the corporation's ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) policy aimed at, among other things, more responsible and sustainable management by providing customers with state-of-the-art technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
