Klima-Therm has joined the Association of Manufacturers and Importers of Heating Equipment (SPIUG) as a member supporting the organisation's activities carried out for the benefit of the heating market, including the heat pump sector.

SPIUG was established in 2005. Today, the Association comprises leading manufacturing and distribution companies that are active in the Polish installation and heating market with respect to modern and environmentally friendly heat and domestic hot water generation technologies.

One of the main objectives of the Association, which lies within the strategic interest of Klima-Therm Group, is the development of innovative RES heating solutions, which are gaining momentum in the face of likely restrictions in the consumption of energy from traditional sources. As a member of SPIUG, Klima-Therm Group wants to support the implementation of the statutory tasks and goals of the organisation focused, among others, on educating investors and HVACR industry professionals about innovations in Renewable Energy Sources, with significant involvement of heat pumps.

- "Membership in the Association of Manufacturers and Importers of Heating Equipment is primarily an expression of our company's commitment to developing a system of new heating and energy solutions for the consumer market in Poland. Klima-Therm pursues this objective in multiple ways, also through its participation in activities initiated by other leading organisations, namely the Polish Organisation for the Development of Heat Pump Technology (PORT PC), the Polish Photovoltaic Industry Association – Poland PV or the Polish Energy Storage Association (PSME)" – explains Paweł Deska, Technical Director at Klima-Therm, who represents the company in contacts with HVACR industry associations.

The RES segment is one of the pillars of Klima-Therm Group's strategic development plans. The core of the company's RES product portfolio are ecological air-to-water heat pumps and mechanical ventilation heat recovery units. The second RES area of intensive development are solutions used in low- and zero-energy buildings: photovoltaic modules, PV inverters and valve sets that streamline the installation process and translate into operational savings through their optimal selection. In the near future, the company is also planning to expand its portfolio to include energy storage systems and hybrid batteries with inverters, as well as multi-function tanks that function as an integrated DHW and buffer tank in one. According to the assumptions made, the RES segment is expected to account for 25% of Klima-Therm Group's revenues in 2022 and more than half of the sales value by the end of 2025.
