Radiant panel technology

Radiant panels are designed for heating rooms using the phenomenon of radiation. Heating through radiation has a number of advantages.

 

The main benefits of radiant panel heating include the complete elimination of noise, no forced air circulation, uniform temperature gradient throughout the room and fire risk elimination. Not without significance is also the energy efficiency of such systems – this method is used to directly heat people in the room, floors and walls, while the air is heated indirectly. This reduces the phenomenon of heat dissipation to the minimum. As the general distributor of the Sabiana brand, Klima-Therm offers a wide selection of DUCK STRIP radiant panels.

 

The design of radiant panels is very simple and does not involve any moving elements or any components mechanically working together. The panels consist of three main elements: radiant panel, heating medium (water) pipes and insulation. Looking more closely, the panel is a little bit more complicated, as shown in the figure below.
