Klima-Therm, together with its long-term partner – G.I. INDUSTRIAL HOLDING SPA – invited a group of several dozen cooperating designers to a study tour to the headquarters of the Italian manufacturer of chilled water systems located near Venice, in northern Italy.

The main objective of the training, held on 17-19 June, was to disseminate the knowledge about the available technological solutions based on new refrigerants, to discuss the current legislative situation in the European Union, which aims to reduce CO2 emissions and limit the use of F-gases, and to identify new design needs related to changing legislation.

In response to these legislative amendments and, above all, out of concern for the natural environment, G.I. Industrial Holding – the manufacturer of Clint units – is already offering its customers ready-to-use environmentally-friendly solutions, such as new chillers and heat pumps which use ecological refrigerants with a low GWP: R452B, R513A, HFO (R1234ze). The available range of Clint chilled water systems, which are also available on the Polish market, proves that G.I. Industrial Holding and Klima-Therm Group have set as their primary goal the supply of environmentally friendly and highly efficient air conditioning solutions.

Between attending technical and product-focused training sessions, which took place at two manufacturing plants of G.I. Industrial Holding in Latisana and Rivignano, the participating designers enjoyed some active relaxation by discovering the beauty of Venice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site city. The attractions included a boat trip in the Venetian Lagoon, walking in the Piazza San Marco, a visit to the island of Murano with its famous ornamental glass factory and strolling on the islands of Torcello, Burano and Tronchetto.
