The SK-ECM-HY model is distinguished by its exceptional resistance to the growth of fungi, bacteria, and other microorganisms. This is all thanks to the use of the highest quality materials – the internal components are made of AISI 304 stainless steel and a certified polymer mat compliant with DIN EN ISO 846. The materials used are resistant to abrasion, and the design of the internal surfaces allows for regular and easy disinfection using specialized detergents. Easily removable components significantly improve service, cleaning, and maintenance.

The external main structure of the unit, which is not in direct contact with the air, is made of galvanized steel, while the Skystar SK-ECM-HY four-way diffuser visible in the room is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, also insulated with a polymer that complies with the DIN EN ISO 846 standard.

The interior of the unit has been thought out in every detail – the supporting structure is insulated with closed-cell polyethylene. The light color of the unit facilitates visual inspection of cleanliness. The condensate tray, also made of AISI 304 steel, has been designed to drain condensate by gravity only, eliminating the risk of water remaining in the unit.

Efficient operation is ensured by a modern radial fan made of polymer material and a brushless EC motor with permanent magnets. Control is via a BLAC sine wave current converter, which ensures exceptional precision and smooth operation.

The heat exchanger remains unchanged from the standard SK-ECM version and is available in a 2- or 4-pipe version, made of copper pipes and aluminum fins.

Additionally, the SK-ECM-HY model can be equipped with a factory-installed MB board for integration with ModBus systems and/or an IR remote control, making it even more functional and versatile. The operating parameters of the device are confirmed by Eurovent certification.

The device has undergone rigorous certification according to the VDI 6022 standard, thanks to which it meets the highest hygiene standards. It is ideal for medical facilities and other buildings where cleanliness and proper air parameters play a key role.
